Tasting Characteristics
Brilliantly, light yellow in colour with greenish tints. Strong and lively nose, typical Malagouzia, suggesting rose petal with floral aromas and sweet spices, melon, litchi with a note of honeysuckle. Round and mellow on the palate, fat but balanced, high in alcohol with plenty of finesse. Well structured, reminding the nose aromas with a hint of rosemary. A richly textured wine with superb length and balance. A classy wine with long finish and persistent aromas.
Harmony
Excellently married with green salads, baked vegetables, pasta, low fat fishes and a wide variety of Greek sea food “Meze”.

Tasting Characteristics
Splendid, purple red color. Complex, typical bouquet of spices (vanilla, pepper, clove), with hints of ripe blackberry. Full mouth, with vanilla aroma, rounded tannins, balanced acidity and wood tones. Long aftertaste with intense quince aroma.
Harmony
Ideal wine to compliment most beef, lamb, veal, pork and game (deer, venison). Strong cheeses and blue cheeses will also please.

Tasting Characteristics
Bright, deep ruby colour. It has beautiful Syrah fruit silky and ripe. Rich and intricate bouquet, earthy, dominated by leather and cherry brandy aromas, with peppery and plumy background. Generous, full bodied, chewy, robust wine with a velvety taste. Vanilla, wood, mocha and toffee hints. Slightly tannic finish with long persistent aromas. Its potential complexity is under constant development. A “Vin de Garde” with a great future.
Harmony
It fits ideally with a large range of meats, grill cooked fleshy mushrooms, well matured smooth cheese.

Tasting Characteristics
Deep ruby color with purple hints. Powerful, pungent aromas of sweet cherry, candied plum and toasty vanillin oak. Full bodied and deep in dark fruit flavors, with a peppery and strong oak spicy accents background. The solid tannins build through the finish but there is plenty of supporting depth of fruit here, not to mention a bright acid lift on the back that adds energy. A ‘’Vin de Garde’’ with a great future.
Harmony
Pairing harmoniously with juicy red meats, venison, barbecued or spicy cooked. Meat pies as well. Paired with aromatic-piquant cheeses assures another intriguing suggestion.

Alpha Estate Omega Late Harvest

Gewürztraminer 85%, Malagouzia 15%.
Tasting Characteristics
Allowing the fruit to stay on the vine and dehydrate intensifies aromas and flavours to the point of perfection. Is a full body, full flavoured wine exhibiting rose-petals, pear and apricot character, and the spicy floral aromas of the Gewurztraminer grape. The residual sugar is well balanced by acidity, so that the overall effect is refreshing, neither cloying nor tart. This wine has a pleasant, long finish.
Harmony
It is superb served all by itself, or excellent with a wide variety of white fruity based desserts, like fruit tarts, fruit cakes, pavlovas and others. Greek syrupy desserts like revani, galaktomboureko (milk cream & philo pastry pie) and nutty baklava. Blue cheeses of all kinds and foie gras are well paired with.

Tasting Characteristics
Meticulous care in the vineyard and a gentle touch in the winery resulted in ALPHA’s PINOT NOIR. A wine of great intensity, balance and structure. Depth and concentration balanced by the fresh acidity and minerality that are typical of the site. Influenced by new oak, their subdued, alluring aromas, characterized from wild cherries aromas, with hints of spiced black plums, raspberries and cocoa seduce the educated palate, as does the vibrant acidity.
